Christian God is the Normal Person*. Satan seems to be a Savants*. The whole duality is about nothing more than these two factions disagreeing on a fundamental level about what is right and what is wrong. What does Satan do, exactly? Basically, he fornicates and punishes hypocrites and greedy people and tempts people to reveal their true nature to him. Can I judge him? Fuck no. I’d do the same if I were clever and rich enough. Is he scary, fuck yes. But imagine looking Satan in the eye, and he grins back, knowing you see him for who he is: Fairness. Not forgiveness and mercy but Fairness.

I don’t give too fucks about mercy. I’m diligent enough about my own sins to look Satan in the eye and be met with nothing more than: “Bitch you’re way too braggy and self-satisfied. I’m going to watch you.” Then he laughs.

Oh I’m derailing from the topic.

“God needs you to be a sinner so he can forgive you.”

This is the Normal Person* of Thinking prime belief. “We are all sinners.” Why is that a good thing? Because they believe that whatever you confess to someone powerful, will get you forgiveness and as such a place in heaven, love, union. This is not faith, this is what they believe in their very core.

And they believe it about everyone who they love, not just God.

You can bet your sweet ass I mocked the person mercilessly who first told me that God needed her to be a sinner so he can forgive her later. So that the confessional wouldn’t be wasted.

So they try to console us goody-two-shoes that your little sins will count for something, too, don’t worry.

If that’s not satanic… 😀

“As if they were told to!”

You know those kids who break every rule you are dumb enough to give them? They KNOW this is the very thing they’re not supposed to do, and that’s exactly what they are going to do. The Normal Person* thinkers after forgiveness and love. (Give them lesser rules to break and hide your valuables because they want to know if you’d love them more than the rules you put in place—or the Ming Dynasty vase they’re about to break.)

They would forgive you everything.

the Normal Person* would forgive you for anything you’ve done. They even want you to break their rules so that they’d have something to forgive you for. You might want to use this knowledge by breaking some of their rules, ask for forgiveness and when you get it, laugh in their face in the pursuit of breaking their heart – this maybe the only way – to get away from them.

You might also want to put in some fake rules, because otherwise they’ll break the real ones.
