the Normal Person* bonding: “Gotcha! Now, submit to me – you’re mine.”
If a Savants* ever founds themselves having some kind of an intellectual debate with the Normal Person*, they might wonder what’s going on. The Normal Person*fights for dominance here, too, and if they catch you of a slight stupidity or hypocrisy, they think that now, they own you – you must submit to them and obey them in everything. This is a type of flirting, and it’s like they don’t understand why you would not honor their claim on you if they catch you of slight hypocrisy or stupidity, or something else that is embarrassing. “I know your secret: you aren’t perfect. Now I own you.”
An Savant* of person will feel rather bewildered and annoyed about the Normal Person* repeated reminders of the embarrassing situation, wondering if they’re ever going to let that damned thing go. It’s just that if that’s the only thing they have “to hold you by”, they’ll try and use it, even if, to a Savants*, it made absolutely NO SENSE what it is the Normal Person*is trying to prove.
The only thing you need to do is to embarrass them back, and the score is even. The funny thing is, that the Savants* often has about a thousand embarrassing things to say about another person but they just don’t say them, so… You know… Just pick your silver bullet.
