the Survivalist* don’t know you don’t like them – and there’s no way of telling them.

Now, I assume you’re a Idealists*… I hope my Universe-driven random engine has led you to the right place.

Um… The Survivalist* don’t know you don’t like them, and I don’t know any way to inform them of the matter. The good thing about this is that if you think they don’t like you, it’s not true. They literally like everybody, and that’s why they cannot understand YOU or anyone else NOT liking them.

Ironically, they do know that sometimes people think that they are not LIKED by others, but I don’t know how they’ve concluded that, but they assume everyone who they’re talking to likes THEM, but they easily figure that if you’re in any way “weird”, and if you have used the word “weird” to describe yourself at any time, they cannot think of “weird” being ANYTHING but a term used for a social pariah. They don’t think the word “weird” has any positive connotations. Therefore, if they suspect you think they don’t like you, they’ll go out of their way to tell you they do, they want your company – they’re annoyed with you only when you ignore them or cut them out of your life.

Now… The Idealists* don’t understand WHY the Survivalist* need to waste their time and energy on people who they don’t even like… The Survivalist* LOVE everybody (who has ever given them a chance), but they pretend not to – it’s their idea of flirtation. They belittle you, they bully you, they pick a fight – in public – expecting you to know “they like you” and want to make friends with you. The Idealists* don’t usually understand this without a bit of help. If you’re a Idealists*, just try to find the trust that person likes you – loves you even, NOW how do you reply to them?

Depending on whether you like them back or not, your response will tone itself so that the Survivalist*understands you, too.

the Idealists* very much accept they’re not everybody’s cup of tea, and they often feel they’re wasting others’ resources and time simply by being there. Therefore, they’re easily made feel guilty for existing even, and the Survivalist* don’t understand this. That’s why they take a lot of verbal abuse with nothing but explanations: “Look, I’m not HURTING anybody, I’m just doing this…” And when the love-sick the Survivalist*won’t stop, gradually the Idealists* will lose their temper: “Look, just FUCK OFF. Just FUCK OFF, leave me alone.” Meaning “you are getting out of line, I can take a few snide comments, but this is stupid.” the Idealists* accept that not everybody likes them, but what they don’t accept is the oppression on their right to not be liked. That’s why they blow up at “the Survivalist* who try to change them,” when that the Survivalist*has done nothing but try to tell them “I love you, I think you’re wonderful, I admire you, I adore you”.
