the Young Soul* thinks love means “taking care of someone”

the Young Soul* and the Old Souls* think love means vastly different things. Whichever way a Old Souls* tries to explain to the Young Soul*what love is, they always somehow link it to “being taken care of.” the Old Souls*: “Love is a joy of another person’s existence.” the Young Soul* fills the sentence: “…because that person takes care of you.” the Old Souls*: “Love is feeling respect and admiration towards someone” the Young Soul* concludes: “…because of how well they take care of you.” the Old Souls*: “True love is sexual” the Young Soul*: “Because you are willing to sacrifice your body to the animal lust, the flaw of being a human because you need them to take care of you.”

the Young Soul* also considers sexual orientation to mean whichever gender they rely on more for physical comfort. Whether it is a “mom” energy or “dad” energy they trust more for providing physical care, that’s how their sexual orientation is going to direct to… Not the same way as the Old Souls*’s, who simply love and feel sexual desire toward one or the other gender.
