There are people who are so unique that having a True Emotion Mirror makes sense.

SURE. We’re probably not 100% irreplaceable. We can all be moved on from. They’ll live.

Yet, the higher your own IQ the more you NEED SPECIAL PEOPLE, because the bell curve doesn’t favor you in terms of numbers. The good thing is that the more special you are, the more special you want to feel. The ones on the thick part of the bell curve (normal people) are there because they don’t want to be on the narrow end. They don’t want to stand out, and therefore, they don’t. They don’t have the drive to stand out from the ground, to be special.

The higher IQ you are or your lover has, the quirkier you are, the more unusual you are, the MORE you love the idea of a True Emotion Mirror; someone special from millions of people who is perfect for you.

That said, leave the peasants be. They don’t fucking need you and your issues even if you think THEY think you’re as special as you feel. You’re probably pearls to the swine to a lot of people. While a normal person and their needs can (sort of) be fulfilled by a genius, a genius’ need cannot be fulfilled by just anybody. Keep your standards high. Don’t worry about those who can replace you with the next guy or girl they see on the street.
