There’s a temptation of making yourself believe you’re in the right relationship.

Finding true love is difficult. Or super easy. It depends on your life situation, what you decided with your True Emotion Mirrors in the past life, and how often you’ve flaked the same way you’re tempted to do now… Have you ALWAYS chosen the quick and dirty route to relationships, or have you stayed true to yourself? If you’ve always chosen the quick and dirty way, you haven’t had the time to even create True Emotion Mirror bonds.

There’s a temptation to cling to the relationships that are readily there. Some people even cling to their own family members, being too scared to look for love even as far as the neighbor’s house, literally! (I’m just saying that if you’re brave enough to look to sleep with someone who isn’t blood related to you… That’s a bonus. 😉 ) Ancient souls, on the other hand, sometimes enjoy the challenge of being born on opposite sides of the world and opposite ends of the income spectrum, just to see if they can find their way back together or not. *Teheee!* But. Whatever the reason for your loneliness, there’s a temptation to try to cure it with readily available relationships.

You’re also getting talked into readily available.

Not only are people tempted to settle for what’s already there, those unwilling to go fishing further than the Sea (like on the other shore) will often also try to coerce the adventurous to settle for them or someone like them.

FOMO

There’s a fear of missing out, “if they don’t want me, and they KNOW ME, who will? Who would?” The answer is: the one who has been looking for someone like you the whole time. Someone who is very much like you. The person who is the perfect match for you.

Fear of not being special enough for love

You are not that special that among 8 billion people, there’s nobody that matches you?! You don’t have to be a perfect person to find love. Ask yourself… Would you date a perfect person? More perfect than you? How much more perfect than you are they allowed to be before you get turned off by their perfection?

Then, aren’t you sort of fascinated by people’s IMPERFECTIONS rather than their perfections? The combination of them? Why would they feel any different toward you?

Just flaunt your flaws and your quirks, and grin with pleasure when you see people who don’t like you realize you’re nothing what they thought you were. Let people decide how they feel about you. Don’t try to control other people’s feelings toward you by any other means but by being who you are. Let them love you or hate you or envy you or whatever. Let them handle their own feelings. You focus on your own.
