Thrive for perfectionism and letting go of the outcome

Lover-thinking* and Cat Type Thinking* interaction is often a battle over what is a worthwhile level of effort, and whether, for instance, thriving for physical beauty is acceptable or simply vanity. The Young Soul* want to relax the Old Souls* by insisting they shouldn’t waste time and effort on “something so pointless” as well, physical fitness, arts, theoretical sciences, keeping an immaculate house, and being somewhat of a domestic goddess, gaming, maybe. These are all pursuits that have no real immediate purpose or point, some more, some less. Still, they are pleasurable and uplifting for the Old Souls*, at least.

A way to relax a Old Souls*, surprisingly, is to give them permission to try as hard as they like to perfect whatever pursuit they’re drawn to perfect. You cannot tell them WHAT TO DO, as their orders come from above, in a sense, but you can give them permission to practice drawing a perfect circle free hand as much as they like. Things that the Old Souls* do can be labeled autistic (repetitive) or bipolar (energetic starts, unfinished projects), but pay no mind to it. Nothing is as painful than having to disrupt one’s own spiritual rhythm because it doesn’t fit someone else’s idea of “normal.”

Controlling the uncontrollable.

the Young Soul* still want very much to control nature. They still haven’t figured out that all they do with this control is to shove things out of control. They are not and should not be in control. What they should be doing is tuning into the controller, the spirit that guides us all forward, but usually, when they try, they try to control that, too. We cat-type thinkers should stop trying to control their spiritual evolution and trust that they’ll figure it out sooner or later.

A part of this whole physical life of ours is to offer us entertainment in the form of pointless fear. It’s a game, really. A roller coaster – you’re perfectly safe but you’re scared for the fun of it. And, even if you KNOW the roller coaster is unlikely to lose control, you’ll still scream in delight as it wooshes through the tracks. It’s still going to be fun – more so if you understand it’s not very dangerous.

Life’s dangers are not dangerous.

Life has its dangers, but they’re not… final. We die to prevent ourselves from getting stuck in a hole… Quite literally. Imagine falling into a hole in the ground and knowing there is no way out, and you’ll live forever. See. Blessed death. It’s a security system. Still, having to do it all over again from childhood on is a bit of a bastard, right? Who wants that? (I know some people really loved being a child, but I’m not one of those people. I hate having to be a good girl. 😀 Maybe I can just decide not to be anymore.)

As we get older in spirit, we’ll learn to fear less out of simple experiences. As a Spectacled Caiman (crocodile) told me in spirit, when I asked him if he was aware of his reincarnation, he seemed confused and gave me the perfect answer: “I don’t know, I’ve just always been here.” (He also said humans are so cocky they stand on their boats and show no respect. I told him that well… It’s just that even though you could eat them, we can make shoes and bags out of you… He understood. What this spectacle of a crocodile also said, is when he heard the mention of Jesus Christ, he said: “Oh I know that name. It’s what they envision, a man on a cross, whenever they see me, and cry his name – as if he could help them…” He didn’t exactly say the man on the cross, he showed an image of Jesus on a cross, and showed a man he startled half to death… before his death, praying to Jesus in Spanish with that image in his mind.)

“New device.”

Life is dangerous but dangers are not dangerous. ;p We’ll all come back after a reboot. (Our memories are stored in “a cloud server,” so to speak, but our experience, innate knowledge is in the new device; accessible from the brain itself without a special command. ;p To compare us with a smart phone, we’ll get a new phone, some of them are very similar to the one previous, we’ll redownload a lot of the data, but there’s also not much point for some of it. As we keep reincarnating and collecting data, the excess will be forgotten but not lost – stored away until it’s consciously retrieved.)

It’s OK, you will be loved even if you perfect yourself.

the Young Soul* think that the Old Souls* thrive for perfection in order to be loved. In fact, we do the opposite. We try NOT TO be so ambitious so that we’d be accepted. Not loved, but accepted. We know the difference between love and acceptance very clearly. Just because you accept someone’s presence doesn’t mean you love them.

the Old Souls* will have to let themselves be. Never you mind whether people like you, love you, accept you… Just let them know you are not doing it for them, but for your own pleasure. Ask them what they think you should ALSO achieve so you have the right to keep doing what you are doing now, because you’ll insist on doing what you do anyway.

THEIR problem is that the Young Soul* do EVERYTHING for someone else. Therefore, when you spend time perfecting your craft for your own pleasure, they think you’re confused about what they would want  you to be doing, and as such, your pursuit that doesn’t benefit them in any way seems non-sensical and a time waster. You have to let them know that as much as you may care for them, this isn’t about them, and they do not get to decide HOW you help them – money is good for anybody and they may get their share of whatever your existence will pay – it maybe very little – but they don’t get to change you in their pursuit of making a good use or money out of you.

That should snap them to reality.
