True Emotion Mirrors: For once your ego and your heart are in agreement.
The goodness of your heart lies constantly. All the time. Mostly, what it says is “You’ll be happy with this. Put your ego aside.” When you meet your True Emotion Mirror, your ego rejoices: “He/she is everything I’ve ever wanted! I cannot believe they’re even real. I WANT THEM. They’ll make me look good, they’ll make me happy, they’ll be everything I’ve ever dreamed about.” Your heart goes: “OMG, they’re everything I’ve always wanted. They’re all that I need. They are the One.”
If you’re a good person, you’re used to talking your ego out of things. However, you should be allowing your ego to speak a bit.
If you’re a selfish person, you’re used to letting your ego make all of your decisions for you. This means you’ll be trying to reach a standard too high for you, you’re cutting corners, you’re treating every door as if it was YOUR door, and you’re angry when the key doesn’t work on the lock… And you blame the lock designed to keep you and every other unwelcomed guest out. The lock works fine.
Is it just ego? With a True Emotion Mirror, your ego MUST BE excited. If your ego doesn’t want them, they’re not the one. HOWEVER. Is it JUST EGO?
Does THEIR HAPPINESS mean anything to you?
Years ago, I read this woman’s story of meeting her Twin Flame, or True Emotion Mirror as I call them. She said the one thing she said to him when they had a moment together despite I think both of them being married was “I find that your happiness means the world to me for some reason,” or something to the effect.
It is not that you HAVE TO BRING YOURSELF to care about your True Emotion Mirrors happiness because you’re such a good person, although sometimes we are, your True Emotion Mirror will MAKE YOU selfless in regards to them, no matter how big of a prick you are.
The ONLY THING a True Emotion Mirror worries about is “Can I make him/her happy?” “Am I enough for someone that *amazing*?” They do not need to consider twice whether that person can make them happy. THAT MUCH is clear.
If you don’t really care how your supposed True Emotion Mirror feels about you, but you want them anyway, it’s ALL EGO. It’s all just your selfishness talking. Just you wanting something that doesn’t belong to you. Just you being greedy, that’s all.
