What is your secret to success, beauty, and general excellence?

There are a lot of people who expect “advanced” people to teach them everything they know… In a hurry. There are tons and tons of people who believe they’ve simply missed that one small thing, some single thing that will make them super smart, super enlightened, super popular, and totally sexy in a flash. That “what’s your secret” question, that some people believe has an ACTUAL (short) ANSWER TO IT! LOL.

What is the secret? Hard work over several lifetimes. Multiple realizations. Tireless observation of one’s own ego to stay humble.

My answer is this:

Be humble enough to know you make mistakes.

Be vain enough to spot them before anyone else.

Be smart enough to fix them before anyone else notices.

That’s how you achieve greatness.

Most people skip the first line out of fear of seeing themselves in a realistic light, fail at the second line as everybody else has already seen their mistakes and flaws, and are too lazy or stupid for the third line. That’s how they keep staying disgusting.
