When a person doesn’t welcome your love…

Now… You might be thinking of someone who has been kind to you, helpful, even charitable, but won’t allow you to do anything for them. Or, perhaps you know someone who is a nice person, but won’t respond to any offers of friendship or help. What is happening?

To put it simply: You are being rejected. This means that this person doesn’t want to obligate themselves to help you any further than what is easy and convenient for them. What they’ve done for you so far has been easy for them. Effortless. It’s like the coins you throw into a street musicians’ hat without a second thought. They may be a big thing to you, but to them, they meant very little.

When you try and repay those efforts with something big for you, they reject it because they don’t want to bond to you. They see you as a charity case or someone emotionally needy, but they don’t feel needs that you can satisfy. Therefore, they are not going to tie themselves into a relationship that is pleasurable or beneficial only to you but not to them. They may keep being nice to you, but without allowing you to reprocicate. That simply means they still want to meet someone else, someone who they feel more equal to than you.
