Why are the Savants*’ rules so messy?

the Savants* are usually quite smart. Imagine the color wheel. Some people can name a lot of colors you don’t have the foggiest idea what they’re called, while another person makes a clear difference between “cream”, “milk cream”, and “latte”… I am not great with colors. 😉 Now, the Savants* are like that with emotions, feelings, morals, and/or sexual things. They can name a lot of nuances between things that make NO difference to a dog-type. Still, they’re trying to draw a line for you between two colors and you cannot see which is which. It’s not that there is no line to be drawn, just that you cannot see the difference between what is OK and what is not, as both options, to you, seem either nonsensical, identical, or completely irrelevant.
