Why are True Emotion Mirrors prickley at you when you approach them?
Short answer: they don’t want to come quietly, but come they will and want. They might be annoyed by the fact you’ve given them a run-around for weeks, months, or years, and even though they still want you, they also want to give you a bit of a growl. Why they do it at the very moment they meet you is another question.
We all battle expectations, stereotypes, and assumptions. Maybe, to them, you look like just the kind of guy/girl that always gets everything they want, and they’re already annoyed by the fact they’ll be yet another one of your conquests. This view isn’t shared by all people. You may well approach other people and get a normal, rational response, but remember your True Emotion Mirror thinks the world of you. You are always, to them, hotter than the Sun itself. You might be missing teeth, but your TrEmoR thinks HOT.
Swans* may want to establish hierarchy as they do believe everything is about hierarchy and dominance and submission, but Cat Type Thinkers, with their TrEmoR, are not far from behaving the same way. Swans* are insecure and threatened a lot, but we all feel a little exposed with our TrEmoR.
What they want is for you to show them that you want them for real. That you’re willing to try a little harder. They may feel that you are a finger snapper, and they don’t want to be that guy or girl who responds to fingers being snapped. (You know “come here you, do this, do that, snap snap.”)
So, put yourself into their shoes and try a little harder.
