Why leading by example doesn’t work between the Savants* and the Normal Person*?
The Savants* and the Normal Person*people don’t think of things the same way. Their priorities are entirely different. Where the Normal Person* goes for short-term attention that they believe will lead to being loved, which leads to being given things; the Savants* thinks a bit differently. Getting low-level attention by acting stupid, pathetic, or aggressive doesn’t ever work in the sense that the Savants* sees something working; therefore, if the Normal Person*leads by example, they try to show how easily they get attention by behaving in a certain way, while the Savants* yawns thinking “oh my god they’re pathetic and ruining their reputation acting this way.”
When the Savants* tries to teach something to the Normal Person*by example, the Normal Person*is sitting there thinking: “Oh look how hard they’re working and getting no attention from anybody! How pointless and energy-consuming! Look how I do it!” Then they start a commotion of some description to show the Savants* how easily they steal the show by acting like an idiot… Taking pride in the fact they are not afraid of embarrassing themselves for attention and the love (sympathy/pity) that they get this way.
The dog-type’s greatest show: “Oh, look how I suffer! Look how pathetic and helpless I am! Feel your heart melt as I look up to you with these helpless puppy eyes!”
The Savants* tries to demonstrate how to be respectable, admirable, and responsible; take care of others and be a good person. A Normal Person* sees all of this to be a waste of time; there are faster ways to get what you want.
