Why the Old Souls* don’t value education as much as the Young Soul*

The Young Soul* value clear “boxes”. They appreciate a clear set of instructions that take them from point A to point B… Or Z, depending on their ambition. However, the Old Souls* don’t find this challenging, at the same time as they find it impossible to do. Intellectually, they would be more than capable of finishing whatever level education they choose to, but they will find it so mind-numbing in the lack of positive challenge that they simply cannot do it: Why spend all that energy on something that has already been done a million times over all over the world? If it is not brain surgery or rocket science, they won’t be intellectually challenged enough to do it – and what their natural alignment is, may not be suited for brain surgery or rocket science.

Both the Young Soul* and the Old Souls* despise each other

It is no news. The Young Soul* despise the Old Souls* achievements and ambition, and the Old Souls* despise the Young Soul* education, job achievements, and ambition. As a Old Souls*, I feel tempted to put quotes around “achievements” and “ambition” when it comes to the Young Soul*.

The way the Young Soul* see it, you can’t just make up your own rules and then call yourself an achiever. The Old Souls* feel that you can’t just follow someone else’s rules and outline and call yourself an achiever. All you are is a trained animal.

“Itseoppinut on ainoa oppinut. Muut ovat opetettuja.”

“The self-taught is the only learned person. Others, they are trained.”

Erno Paasilinna (the Old Souls*, of course)

The irony is, that everything that is being taught to the Young Soul*, originates from the original work of a Old Souls*

Because the Old Souls* are categorically the only people who seek for new information and groundbreaking achievements, who truly want to learn something new, figure out something that hasn’t been done before, everything that the Young Soul* has ever been taught originates from the work of a rebellious, DIY the Old Souls*. They are the only people capable of forcing humanity into evolution. Without the Old Souls*, this world would still be living in a tree as NOT ONE the Young Soul* would be so bold as to climb down a tree and wonder what else is there.

The Chimpanzee that figured using tools might be a good idea is a Old Souls*. Every innovator that has ever existed is a Old Souls* because to innovate, you HAVE TO think outside the box, find something new, be curious to see if there was a better way to do things, rather than a way to master an old craft.

Pitty going both ways

While the Old Souls* understand the logical value of the Young Soul*, they would rather die than be one of them – and the Old Souls* probably return the sentiment. The Old Souls* see the Young Soul* as people doomed to repeating the same old, same old from day in, day out, with no relief, praise, or notoriety, while the Young Soul* see the Old Souls* as morons who got lucky and are now, in their infinite hunger for attention and recognition under the impression that they, too, achieved something. The Young Soul* see the Old Souls* as some kind of children who get to pretend to be important.

They will only recognize the value of these people’s achievements once they read about it in their school books in the next lifetime, and that is why the Old Souls* loathe their asses. They couldn’t recognize a genius if it hit them in the head at a brightly lit shopping mall.

I suggest you print this into a school book one day. It is for the best interest of the Young Soul* to learn some humility and gratitude.

What are the Young Soul* great at

While the Old Souls* are innovators and evolutionaries, the Young Soul* are stabilizers and a cautious force; the counterbalance. They challenge new information and force it to be examined thoroughly before it is passed onto the next generations. The Old Souls* can be a little brash and quick, but this is not to say “let the Young Soul* edit their work”, because they don’t necessarily understand it fully.

The danger is that the Old Souls* get frustrated and pass on information too quickly, or that the Young Soul* get scared and edit out all the genius in the Old Souls*’s work and essentially simply repackage and sell an old idea when great progress was to be made.

Regardless, the Young Soul* stabilize. They are a grounding force to the Old Souls*, and they make the greatest of innovations usable for the masses. The Old Souls* should not be stripped of their own achievements, however. They value complexity as it creates possibilities, whereas the Young Soul* prefers stripped-down information and tools for “the everyday folk”.

The Consumers and the Creators

When the Young Soul* “creates” they mostly achieve something of a regurgitation. They simply do more of the same what someone has taught them to make. An Old Soul* would be too embarrassed to pass anything on just the same as it was and call it “a creation”. Even when they follow instructions that someone else created for them, they will make an alteration into it, to make it worth making, really.

The Young Soul* are good at passing on the basics, however, they provide everything EVERYONE needs, their businesses revolve around mass production, mass culture, stripping away personality and making it usable no matter who you are. Without them, we’d be all plowing through fields of bizarre products one more obscure than the other, and finding a white, gray, or black product that will always fit your outfit, decor, or style would be near impossible.

We all also need a standard of every area of expertise, something that EVERYONE can master. This is because we are not all masters of all areas of life; a mathematician needs to find an easily understandable wardrobe for himself, as he wouldn’t know a sand from khaki to save his life. I personally am a freaking genius when it comes to understanding people, who are incredibly complex creatures, (although I sometimes struggle with the Young Soul*ies) but I cannot put two and two together without whipping out the calculator. (I exaggerated a little. My comfort level drops dramatically at 7+6. That is the exact point where my brain starts to scream for help.)

Why do the Old Souls* always point out their weaknesses and failures so openly

I’ll throw this in here, as it’s mildly relevant to the value of education. The Young Soul* are ASHAMED of everything that points out that they didn’t fit a standard of some description. So to admit to a flaw like not knowing one’s maths or not having finished high school, to them, is such a massive shame and failure, they would NEVER admit to it without a gun to their head. Yet, the Old Souls* willingly, or seemingly even proudly, declare their failures with no regard to what that might do to their credibility.

The reason for this is this. The Old Souls* KNOW when they are scary good. They know their intelligence and achievement level makes others around them feel intimidated. They also know NOBODY with a half a brain will dispute their genius because they trust they have made their case clear. (There’ll be the Young Soul* that will now start bringing up failures just to appear smart and the Old Souls*, but mind you, it’s unlikely they tell you the truth but throw in a failure that isn’t real or significant. It’ll be hilarious, they’ll say: “I once got a B in an exam, too..”, and you be like “awwww, that must have been painful for you.”)

By admitting to their failures, the Old Souls* are mainly aiming to encourage those who are still struggling with life. They want those people to know that it’s worth sticking with what you’re doing, because they, too, have their weaknesses. They also want you to not define yourself by your weaknesses but by your strengths, and remind you that succeeding despite having failed or not being great at everything is more than possible.

Why admitting to failures may not be smart and why it is

The Young Soul* seek to dominate or abuse or use others, so they don’t admit to their weaknesses. They are always watching their backs and fearful someone else will use this information of their weakness against them. They are always uncertain about other people’s motivations and suspicious of what’s to come, who is after their job etc. The Old Souls* are not. They know what they don’t know and they plan their lives around it.

the Old Souls* would be well adviced to watch out for the Young Soul* seeking to take advantage of your weaknesses though. It is possible, too, that the Old Souls* subconsciously reveal their weaknesses IN ORDER to have them attacked. This will force them to fix the weakness and become a master of all trades, to ensure they will be and remain independent and free of dependencies of other people and their good will.

(the Old Souls*, the tip of the day: Believing in fate and/or God is a weakness that the Young Soul* can and will abuse through the spirit. You’re also likely to be too kind and giving for your own good.)

The Young Soul* are using the Old Souls* thinking teaching to dominate and control

And finally, something that I should have accepted a long time ago as a compulsive teacher and a world-saver… The Young Soul* always wind up abusing what we know as a humanity. Where the Old Souls* want to do good, the Young Soul* see a danger. When a Old Souls* decides to change the world toward the better – more personal freedom, more choice, more prosperity for all, the Young Soul* see an attempt to destroy the world and particularly, threaten THEIR dominance and power.

This is why I want to provide the Old Souls* with a strong head start to these theories and aim for as little distortion of them as possible.
