Why two Dog Type Thinking True Emotion Mirrors can make an easy transition to a relationship?
Young Souls* believe that being loved is the priviledge, not to love. Old Souls* have been the object of one-sided love for too often, to be unaware of how lacklustre it feels to be loved by someone you don’t love back. It feela like you’re trapped with a guilt trip to boot. That’s why they’re always worried about possibly being one-sidedly in love, even when things look good. They fear they’re too easy, so easy that someone desperate for a relationship might give them a chance and talk themselves into a relationship that is offered on a silver plate… only to realize later that wasn’t what they wanted… and as a consequence, the one loving will get their heart ripped out. If the love is onesided, one of them is going to get hurt or hurt, and the fear is, in the start of the relationship, for the other person as much as themselves. “Getting in too deep” when their counterpart can truly hurt them.
If the person also has the fear that because love must be returned, they don’t want to put their True Emotion Mirror on the spot and make them feel obliged to love them back.
Old Souls* are overthinkers. They fear for their counterpart even more than for themselves. They’ll opt out for a lifetime of unhappiness to save their loved one from a moment of discomfort. That said, they should know they’re wanted, but… you know.
