You think the rules don’t apply to you because nobody took the time to repeat them to you, specifically.

the Survivalist*, sometimes, can be a bit of a handful because you don’t think the same rules that apply to others may not apply to you. The Survivalist* expect to be trained to a specific role in a pack, and if nobody is coaching them, they assume they’re the boss. The Idealists* don’t take training too well, and they don’t train others the same way as the Survivalist* do. They teach you how to treat them, but other than that, they don’t expect others to work for them, and they don’t expect others do assume they’d work for them. If they love you, they’ll bring you gifts, but other than that, they will go their own way and do their own thing.

As a dog-type, you may not realize that the same rules that are generally laid out for people also apply to you, even if there might be a special role for you. Just don’t expect the Idealists* to be training you… They won’t. They fully assume you’ll go off your way to do whatever it is that the Survivalist* do and be smart enough to keep out of the Idealists*’ way.
