Your generosity has been mistaken for actual personal love.

You may have an issue. Do you tend to give away your time, work, or money to people you don’t genuinely love? People you may like but also pity a little? Everyone? Do you feel obligated to “give back” when nobody has really given much to you, specifically? Do you feel short-changed a lot? Maybe you feel like you’re giving everything away and receiving very little in return?

Now, such a giving attitude is great, but it should only apply to your True Emotion Mirrors and your Precious Soulmates. You should stop treating your Trail Companions* as well as you’d treat your Precious Soulmates and True Emotion Mirrors. They’re mistaking your intent; taking your charity and community work for genuine love and friendship. While there is some emotion involved, they are taking it too seriously, and that puts them into a lot of debt they won’t be able to pay… If you’re broke right now, there’s your reason. You keep giving too much for free, and the people you should be selling stuff to can’t take any more of your charity.

While you may feel like it’s fine, you never expected them to pay anyway (how could they?), they might not feel that way. So they may be busy looking for an opportunity to pay you back, while they have nothing that you’d accept as a payment anyway.

At the very least, give people the opportunity to pay you back somehow, without using money, that will, hopefully, indirectly bring you what you want.
