Your spiritual task is to give yourself a seal of approval before reaping your rewards.

There is no moral rules or requirements in this world that all people are held to equally. There is no 10 sins or 10 virtues, God is not going to judge you, the Universe is not going to deny you anything you want based on your lack of moral… But YOU may. Whatever YOU want to be, the Universe will hold you to. For as long as you are judging yourself for something you’ve done or didn’t do when you should have, the Universe will be judging you, too. To get what you want, you will have to fix your relationship with YOURSELF, not anybody else… Unless YOU demand that off yourself.

You set your goals, YOU know what you expect of yourself. Your path is laid out for you on that basis. The tasks are there because you put them there. The challenges are there because you wanted them there; to teach yourself something.

You can also reconfigure your task list, BUT you will have to actually agree with yourself that this is the right thing to do. Forget about solving your relationship with God or your family or forgiving the unforgivable – forgive yourself, or make good with whatever you judge yourself for. Hold yourself to your own standards… Those are the only standards that matter here – even if others were trying to lower your bar for you; only your own standards matter – after all, you’re the one living with yourself ALL THE TIME.  You better like yourself, right?
