Your true love is the same kind of a pervert as you are

Sex, as far as I am concerned, is the KEY element in your romantic relationship. If you want it and your partner doesn’t you’re friends, not lovers nor partners. If you don’t want it and your partner does, you’re friends, not lovers nor partners. The one who wants more from a relationship than what they are getting from their current partner should feel free to look for true love elsewhere. The one who is satisfied, unfortunately, has to let go of their unsatisfied partner, as incomprehensible as it may sound.

When you’re looking for true love and portray the “standard male” or “standard female” image to the dating pool just to get the highest number of people’s attention, you’re in danger of alienating the one person who would love you the way you are, but your standard act makes them feel either bored with you, or they feel like a weirdo compared to you, one or the other… Or, ironically, both. When you are exactly what you are, you also give your true love the permission to be what they are, too, but unfortunately, you’ll also attract posers, people who want to make you believe they are the real deal when they are not, in order to make you love them. We just have to be aware of it, and tweak to any uncomfortableness in the other, and try to also keep a keen feel on whether a person feels liberated by you or whether they’re changed their behavior externally, only. This gets tricky with people who were completely unaware of their own traits prior to meeting you, but you’ll figure it out.

When we are single and desperate to not be, we tend to suppress our eccentric relationship needs thinking: “Oh nobody would want that but me… Or some horrible people…” and we fear looking into it. Once in a relationship and the unsatisfaction hits, we think: “Oh boy this person is boring. I wish I could somehow make them more interesting…” Now… You can detect the problem here, can’t you?
